Invisible Friend
is a real band created by Andrew Malenda & C. Depp with Julie Margat around 1999. "Raj Mahal," their second album inspired by the Indian restaurant on east 6th street & the nan & daal they served.
33 Guided by Voices influenced songs from a long island caliber education with a strong Smiths & Cure Blur & New Order & influence. Lyrics range from trivial to triviality. Originally released maybe late 2000.
Good bass lines ok drum parts falsetto vocals good guitar lines good keys, leading to snippet songs that would enhance the idea that this was a real band.
Later to produce "For All Dead Folks," (2014)
